New item alert! Mini size salad from marukai market for $.99! That with a nice hiyashi soba set = a nice fiber rich lunch! Now to find a protein loaded dinner!
Zaru soba day 2!
I stand corrected! Got off for lunch a bit early today and grabbed the zaru combo from marukai (as opposed to nijiya yesterday) and sure enough it is a buck cheaper… What’s the drawback? You get less noodles, and the sauce packet makes it hard to enjoy zaru traditionally… I had to pour the sauce…
Zaru soba combo $4.99 nijiya market
I spotted some zaru soba (cold buckwheat noodles) combo at marukai for the past two days, but when I went today, all they had were cold udon (thick) noodles… So I walked to nijiya and sure enough I got me some soba… I think the ones at marukai might be better value, will update next…
